Community Guidelines

The HBS Institutional Memory site is a community for HBS alumni, students, faculty and staff to share their memories and stories of HBS experiences through photos, videos, and text.

Site contributions of content and comments are limited to the HBS community, defined as those with an hbs.edu email address/account.

All content and comments are moderated based on the HBS Community Values. The HBS community defines itself by and actively embraces three fundamental values:

• Respect for the rights, differences, and dignity of others
• Honesty and integrity in dealing with all members of the community
• Accountability for personal behavior

In addition, content and comments are moderated using the specific guidelines listed below.

HBS may, in our sole discretion, decline to post any content or comments that violate the Guidelines, Privacy Policy, or is otherwise objectionable.

Guidelines to Site Contributors:

Be polite and respectful in your comments and interactions with other members of the community.

No harassing, threatening, racist, sexist, abusive, hateful, violent, vulgar, or obscene language or behavior is tolerated.

Stories that contain personal attacks or attacks on Harvard Business School or Harvard University will not be posted.

When posting a comment, memory, photo or story, ask yourself if anyone would be hurt or embarrassed by it. If the answer is "Yes" or "Maybe," reconsider your posting.

All posted content may be used by Harvard Business School in any and all media, including (but not limited to) Websites, magazines, and books. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

Posting content protected by any intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights, without permission from the owner is prohibited.

No commercial solicitation or advertising will be allowed.
