Abhay Talsania Story

Story regarding his experience as an economics graduate from India attending HBS in the 1970s, who moved from "being well-off in a poor country to being poor in a well-off country as a student." He compares the theoretical education of India to the case study method of Harvard, and recounts cultural offerings in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that introduced him to the American way of life. Harvard students tended to be conservative in their politics. He discusses the paradox of studying capitalist finance at the business school while attending a Marxist Economics course at the main campus. He characterizes his HBS experience as "profound."
